Abdul Player of the Lancashire Championships

Thursday, 17 June 2010

Hamida Abdul Ben.jpg

It was success all the way for Kendal Club members at the Lancashire Championships held at Blackburn.
Top of the list was 14 year old Abdul Ben Hamida who not only won Gold Medal but was presented with the Ron McKinley Trophy for best player of the day with his text book Harai Goshi.
The Kendal Result list is impressive with every one of our players coming back with a medal.
Quote of the day comes from Terry Sedrick. In only his second competition he got to the final, one place better than his first event. He told me he remembered thinking, just as he was about to land flat on his back in the final, "What a nice throw that was!!!"
